Frequently Asked Questions

What face data does the app collect?

The app uses Apple’s Vision framework (iOS) and ML Kit (Android), which process images entirely on-device, to detect face bounding boxes. No biometric data, facial landmarks, or personally identifiable information is collected or stored.

How is the face data used?

Face data is used only within the app to visually mark detected faces and help you organize them in list, grid, or video formats. You may optionally assign a name or title to each face. At no point is your photo or face data transmitted, uploaded, or stored on any external server.

Is face data shared with third parties?

No. Face data is stored locally on your device in the app’s private storage, not accessible by other apps.

How long is face data retained?

Face data is kept until you select a new photo or tap the delete button, which clears all stored image and face data.
